Hubbards Nova Scotia Travel Information
One man, J.D. Shatford, a Hubbards resident from birth, died in the late 1950s, but with his death came great success to Hubbards. He left a large trust fund to Hubbards that would help students receive trust funds and bursaries for post-secondary education. The J.D. Shatford Memorial Library was built with the funds he left behind and the town began to prosper.
